Barrio Coreano is a new restaurant in Koreatown in Toronto. It is one of a group or Mexican restaurants, and because if its location, has a decidedly Korean twist.
The food and drinks menus are written on blackboards on the wall. The tacos were exceedingly tasty and just $5-6!
The decor was also cool: bright neon lights, large industrial signs, and exposed pressed tin ceilings.
Here is one of the tacos we had: served on a corn tortilla, the fried queso chihuahua taco was piled high with a tangy slaw and a lime wedge. Refreshing!
