I love noodles.Whether they are instant ramen noodles (Sapporo Ichiban’s chicken flavour is the absolute best), fresh wonton noodles, flat and wide pappardelle, flat rice noodles, or crunchy fried egg noodles, I love them all. My undying love is one of the reasons Dim Sum City‘s designs really spoke to me!

Dim Sum City is a company that sells original dim sum and Asian cuisine themed toys, apparel and gift items. The company had a booth at the Chinatown festival last summer, and I was aching to buy one of their cute t-shirts. I resisted, but not for long. At this summer’s T&T Night Market, I finally caved and bought a Noodle Girl t-shirt. The vendor also mentioned that Dim Sum City is planning to open a brick-and-mortar store in Chinatown soon, so that means soon everyone will get certain food-themed presents.

The designs are funny and adorable and relevant to our family, which loves any kind of Asian food! Chinatown as a whole is our family restaurant. There are even plushies of dim sum favourites siu mai and ha gow, which would be so cute for kiddoes…or adults.
