My favourite flowers are the early spring blossoms. Daffodils, hyacinths, tulips – they all mark the end of another long winter and promise a hot sunny summer to come.
I’m not talented in the garden and unfortunately have killed more than a couple of my plants. The flowers that survive in our apartment are the heartiest ones that don’t mind being parched one week and drowned the next. But I can appreciate their beauty and love practicing my photography skills on them.
Since our mom was away on vacation when her garden exploded this year, I captured some of the best flowers at sunset. What could be more magical? Even though I’m one day late, Happy Mother’s Day!
