This is my go-to oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipe. It’s simple but delicious!
I always use quick oats for baking these cookies since they are more easily incorporated into the dough than large flake oats. This recipe is also very easily doubled if you are making cookies for a larger crowd. You can also use the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipe as a base for other flavourings; instead of chocolate chips, you can also add in raisins, chopped walnuts, or 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon for a different flavour.
