After picking up our car in La Spezia, we parked and hopped on the train to the next village in Cinque Terre, Monterosso. We had seen lots of people getting off at the Monterosso train stop, so we thought it would be a great place to explore. Monterosso was soooo busy! It had a long sand beach that was wall-to-wall full of beach chairs and sun umbrellas.
We walked along the beach to the village centre where we Sami bought a poster for his brother.
The old village streets were packed full of tourist shops selling t-shirts, sunglasses, and beachwear.
Some shops had adorable textiles and pretty beach bags.
The three of us hadn’t thought to bring our bathing suits, and hanging by the beach seemed to be the main attraction, so we left and headed to Vernazza.
I love taking a wonderful trip through your photos. Thank you for sharing a little piece of the world.
