This is the second Charlie Caftan that I sewed for Tomiko, and third overall. I was gifted 3 m of this rayon-linen fabric in a colourful digital print from Minerva. I initially wanted to sew myself another McCall’s M7920. However, I got pregnant and didn’t want to sew anything for myself since I couldn’t be sure it would fit!
To read the full blog post on how I made this Charlie Caftan, head over to the Minerva blog. I am excited to share this project and be a part of the incredible Minerva team. This fabric was gifted to me in exchange for a full post on their site. This turned out to be a great caftan for Tomiko. She is getting lots of wear out of it, even though it’s winter in Canada!

Very pretty! And it looks comfortable.
Looks like a very comfortable dress! Great to see it dressed up for cold weather. Easy to transition any Spring or Summer dress for cold weather.
It turned out so cute! What great fabric. I found you through the blog hop!
What a fun caftan, Meinhilde! I love the print and all the bright colors. It looks so great against your snowy background, too! Thanks for linking with me.
