I made this cabled crochet beanie as a store sample for our local yarn shop Ewe Knit. This is the second time I used the Caron Cable Twist Hat pattern from Yarnspirations; back in the spring, I used an undyed wool to make the hat and the pom pom.

Crochet Puff Stitch Hat with Free Pattern
The puff stitch hat is made with a body of puff stitches attached to a ribbing made of single crochet stitches. The puffs stitches make the hat quite warm while the ribbing adds a slight stretch for a forgiving fit.
